How to tell difference between acne and impetigo?
I've always been prone to breakouts, but in the last few weeks it seems I am breaking out differently - they are painful and more pus filled.
I had impetigo long ago, and I remembered that it looked like acne, but not much more.
I dont have insurance so going to the doctor on a whim isn't cool - how can I tell the difference between the two? Because I would go for one, but not the other

Impetigo is a super infection that can be caused from acne or a burn or even a pet scratch. While acne can be cured with salicic acid and acne medications, impetigo is an infection and has to be cured with antibiotics and special creams. It does sorta start out like a little pimple, but it spreads flat and the inside is usually pus filled while the outside forms a crusty ring. If you dont have insurance you should go to the ER and have them bill you, you need to have it checked out.
