I went to urgent care a week ago and the doctor gave me bactrim ds, but my staph started to spread more. More of it over my body. Now I went to mexico to buy keflex and bactroban because I was told that it is much stronger than bactrim and its true it has been doing a good job killing the staph. But the thing is the doctor called me yesterday and said i have impetigo and bactrim should kill it in a month. So i blow off what he told me about bactrim and started to take keflex while putting bactroban and my staph is clearing up very much. What do you think should i go with bactrim or go with bactroban with keflex. When I was taking bactrim it was spreading over my body like crazy. When i was using bactroban it stop spreading and it looks like its clearing things up.

Right, I thought I had a cold sore developing on the corner of my bottom lip, so a used zovirax to get rid of it and used an ice cube to lower the temperature of the area. I have had it for about 3 days now and it only seems to be getting worse. It started as a small dot on my lip and has now spread to the corner of my chin with some other little spots. I kept using the product but it didnt seem to be working.
Its red, very itchy, sore, flaking and also weeping.

My baby brother is 8 mons and since he was about 4 mons his face has begun to flare up with red, scabby spots appearing on the cheeks and chin only. He had started eating food at about 4 mons and thought maybe he was allergic to some food but it doesn't seem possible. We took him to the doctor who thought he had impetigo and gave us a medicine which seem to only make things worse. The funny thing is, it comes, stays on several days, starts to go away, and just when we think it's getting better, these spots come back again and again. We tried many different types of lotion, searched the web for tips or info but nothing has worked yet. Does anyone happen to know? I will be grateful for any information given.

So I have 2 dry red patches around lips. I'm not sure what it is, but its been there for about a month and a half, and still hasn't gone away. It kind of looks like Eczema... but it doesn't really itch and it has never oozed or anything. its just mostly red and really dry. every morning it looks extremely dry and flaky. and i'll scratch the flakes off, and its mostly just a red dry spot on my face all day, very irritating. I wash my face with an acne salicylic acid wash, but ive been using salicylic acid for years and this has never happened. whenever i put lotion on it, it burns b/c the skin is so dry. I have very oily skin as well so its kind of strange. I've used a prescription cream called mupirocin, its an antibiotic cream used for impetigo or Eczema, and ive used it for about 3 1/2 weeks. it reduced the redness a tiny bit, but its barely any improvement at all, redness is def still there. anyone have an idea what it is and how to treat it? I'm a high school student and I go back to school in a week and i don't want my school friends to get the wrong idea like I caught the herpilie urpilies over the summer or something. super crappy for the females as well. help please! 
I caught impetigo whilst playing rugby out in Malaysia, it didn't start flaring up until I got home to Wales. Now, the infection has spread and a rash is developing around the area on my arm and face. The scabs have fallen off and now there is itchy red skin. Iv'e been on strong anti-biotic and cream for a week, but it's not clearing. What is happening? Will this be permanent? I'm feeling very concious of it... I'm 17 and attending high school.
about a week ago my throat started to irritate me, then i felt my right tonsil become really inflamed and really painful. i had tonsillitis and impetigo over the summer, so i went to the doctors to make sure it was nothing. my doctor said it was a canker sore on my tonsil, causing it to be inflamed and in pain, but she also did a throat culture. i have not yet recieved the results so it still could possibly be some sort of strept or staff infection. anyway, the sore seems to be getting bigger and worse. along with just a painful tonsil, i had a runny noise, head aches, blocked ears, swollan glands, and neck aches. could it be a common cold mixed with a canker sore, probably. but could it be something else? i'm going back to the doctors this if it proceeds to worsen. i'm just looking for some insight, if anyone has experienced anything like this. thanks much.
well i know it's possible to get a canker sore on tonsils, so i'm not going to contact my doctor immediately. but what is and ENT?
My daughter (aged 6) has what looks like a small bruise at the bottom of her neck i couldn't honestly say how long its been there for, it wasn't there when she was born but couldn't say when it first appeared.. i have taken her to the doctors who was also baffled by what it is she thought it was a bruise but then said it obviously couldn't be becasue of the amount of time its been there, she has refered my daughter to a dermatologist, but her appointment isn't till the end of june.. i just wondered if anybody has any idea what it could be it's a bit smaller then a 5p peice and doesn't casue her any pain but im sure that its getting bigger.. it really does look like a bruise, or maybe even a blood blister its difficult to describe any body have any idea,? im really worried, she has been been ill quite alot lately with various colds etc she has never had a very good immune system and seems to get everything going, she suffers with recurring impetigo alot too although we always do what the doc tells us too.. im worried its all connected somehow? please help. I have to finish taking my antibiotics by next tuesday,Its making me tired and a bit sick.However As soon as I finish them I wanna be able to get back into shape.I`m currently drinking orange juice to build up my vitamin c and I`m drinking plenty of water.I`ve avoided fizzy drinks and alcohol but what else can I do to make sure I`m helping my body to fight of my infection( I have impetigo).
Also what should I do once I finish my antibiotics?

whenever i eat nuts i get tight chest and really big, pussy, red, itchy spots on/around my nose and mouth the next day
Do i have a nut allergy?
The spots aren't like your normal pimple, they're like impetigo, really bad!
Also, how do they test for nut allergies? Is it only by blood test? ..
What should i do then...i don`t need information about how this happened just how can i get rid of it...i don`t want to see a doctor cause the doctors in my ocuntry are just some losers who wants to get our money and says fake things....believe it or not....i am in america for my summer holidays such as right now but i don`t even want to go see a dotor...cause i am male and my sisters would act weird about it....tnx....only serious answers,let`s be nice
