Every time I come home I get Impetigo….?

Last fall I started my freshman year of college at san diego state. When I came home (san jose) for Christmas break, after around two or three weeks my lips began to get really itchy, and these tiny bumps started forming on my lips. It hten began to get red, and form these scabs and then they turned yellow and boom impetigo. I was put on antibiotics and had to apply this cream, and after around a week and a half it was gone ( I returned to san diego state a few days after I was put on all this stuff)

Then I came home for spring break. after a couple days my lips began to itch again, but luckily I didnt get it before I went back to SD.

Now, its summer vacation and after only a few days since being home my lips started to itch again, and im getting those same bumps and Ive noticed that when I wipe my lips with a kleenex, it comes off yellow... So Im almost positive that Im getting it again

But I just dont know WHY this is happening. I havent kissed anyone, havent gotten cut on my lips... it just happens. Does anyone have any idea why this could occur out of nowhere? like I know this is caused by a staph infection and is most prevalent in younger kids, but I just dont see how I coud have gotten it so sudden when I came back, and have never gotten it in SD... Help pleeeease????
My house is not dirty... I have never gotten it before until I came home the first time, over Christmas break, and that was even after a couple weeks of being home.

Can I put on make-up with impetigo?

I had a small scratch on my chin, that has quicky developed into a large sore. My GP confirmed it was impetigo and put me on antiobiotics. The sore is very noticeable, and Im not sure I want to go out with such a large sore on my face, the infection spread to my neck and is quite sore. I normally wear foundation (light coverage), I was wondering if it's possible to use foundation over the scab as it heals? as long as you don't rub it? Then wash hands then use it over the rest of your face? and does anyone know how long it will take to get rid of it it? I don't want to be hiding in doors the whole of this week!

Any help would be appreciated.

please tell me all the symptomes of Impetigo ???

How to reduce redness under my nose?

How do I reduce redness under my nose?
I had impetigo about 3 or 4 months ago, and there is a red spot right under my nose..
It does not itch, or have anything on it..
Its just a red spot and its very annoying..
I tried mupirocin, putting lubriderm on it, someone help?
Btw I have had the red spot for about 2 1/2 months now..

how long shall I leave it between taking antibiotics?

I have to take 4 Flucloxacillin tablets a day for my impetigo. The problem is, you have to take them an hour before eating or on an empty stomach. My stomach has only been empty once today! And that was this morning. I have to take 2 more because I had another capsule 35 mins ago.

So how long until I can have another capsule? And then how long after that?

thanks!

Should I go to school with Impetigo, i've been prescribed ointment and antibiotics?

About two weeks ago i had a blister, but it then popped when I was playing volleyball. It then has turned into a really big scab and more and more skin just keeps peeling off. I've been going to school with this on my hand for 2 weeks now, and a few people have occasionally t I then noticed i had various scabs on my arms, legs and one of my face. My dad took me to the doctor's and the doctor told me I had Impetigo. He gave me tablets and a cream named nemdyn.

He didn't tell me whether or not i should go to school.

10 points for best solution!

how easily can you catch 'impetigo'?

My little brother has impetigo.. a skin disease on his face at the moment.
He's on antibiotics & has cream but has been told its really contagous
I'm a bit paranoid as i live with him & i reeeally don't want to catch it as i've had it before & its horrible :(

I have been staying in seperate rooms away from him, using my own towels & havn't touched anything he's touched.. or touched him!... lol

Is there still a chance i may get it? How can i prevent catching it?
(bear in mind i have no choice but to live in the same house as him so can't walk away lol)

can you get impetigo in your ears?
