Impetigo.net

Any info will be great, heres the story. About a year and a half ago I began getting what was known by doctors as impetigo. The first time it was very bad and of course in school I was made fun of of. It went away after alot of hardship and oral and cream antibiotics. A few months later the symptoms returned and I went through the same mess but the disease wasnt as bad. Again a few months later it returned again same thing.. Now I have believed to have gotten it again for I have seen a red bump on the back of my neck where I have already gotten it the previous times. I am putting on hydrogen peroxide, neosporin and bactorban on the red bump that I just noticed today. Any Info could help..any stories of your own about this. Any common ways of getting it so many times..(I havea bird btw) Any ways to treat it quicker and never let it come back. I already know some things about it but ANY info could help me get over this. Thanks alot guys everyone please help me i really need it!
I did get a haircut yesterday...that could be possible. I do recall being scratched by my bird but never had anything happen to me.. but i do still feel my bird may be a cause.

I periodically get impetigo which is usually caused by being dirty and is most common in small kids which i am not, I take 2 showers daily and really am a clean person. I know whenever I eat certain foods to an excess such as toaster strudels and ravioli I get impetigo I was wondering if there was any way to prevent this from happening besides boycotting the foods and also if it is better to pop the blisters or not. I have a prescription cream as well. thanks

My sister thinks she has impetigo. She's had it before and went a week without realizing and I didn't get it. But I'm scared I will and I start school in a week and don't want to catch it. How do I stop my self from getting it or do I need to if I never got it last time?

right well, i have impetigo and i'm 14 y/o i kinda grew up getting it and getting rid of it, and now its come back again, i have fucidin cream on it (the only thing my gp would give) and its ITCHYYY i cant itch it cause a/. it'll spread and b/. it'll hurt so what can i do to get the itchyness off my mind?

Is clox the only choice of antibiotics for impetigo - it tastes awful.

Any way to mask the taste of the suspension? Or can I ask the dr. for something else.
